The Founder’s Memorial

The Founder's Memorial is a unique tribute to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates.

The centerpiece of the memorial is 'The Constellation,' a monumental work of art consisting of 1,327 geometric shapes suspended from 1,110 cables, forming a three-dimensional portrait of Sheikh Zayed that shines like stars in the sky at night.

Surrounded by beautiful Heritage and Sanctuary gardens planted with native plants, the memorial also features an elevated promenade with inspirational quotes and spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf and city skyline.
