Description
Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth largest national park, offering Serengeti-like landscapes with the vast Mkata Floodplain savannah.
Here you can encounter rare sable antelopes, kudus, the world's largest antelope - the eland, as well as lions resting on termite mounds, elephants, giraffes, and over 400 species of birds. The unique giraffe population combines the characteristics of the Masai and reticulated subspecies.
Surrounded by the Uluguru and Udzungwa mountain ranges, the park forms a picturesque valley with miombo forests and distinctive baobab trees, ideal for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.
