Description
Tylösand is a four-meter-long sandy beach in Halmstad, surrounded by majestic dunes and the famous Rescue Tower.
It is an ideal place for water sports enthusiasts, with beach volleyball nets and a surf center. In the summer, it hosts the SummerSmash Festival, Sweden's largest beach volleyball and skateboarding festival.
Be sure to hike the 18-kilometer Prince Bertil Trail, which starts at Halmstad Castle and leads through scenic countryside. Tylosand Hotel offers a unique contemporary art gallery with works by international artists.
