Description
Swiss National Park is the oldest national park in the Alps, established in 1914. It extends over an area of 170 km² in the Lower Engadine region and offers 100 km of marked hiking trails of varying difficulty.
It is a true paradise for nature lovers, where you can observe chamois, marmots, golden eagles and bearded vultures in their natural habitat. The park is famous for its strict conservation rules, thanks to which it has retained its wild character.
The best time to visit is autumn, especially September, when you can watch the deer roar. There is a special Champlönch trail with GPS app for families.
