Ticknock Halt is a scenic hiking area located in the Dublin Mountains, offering up to 10 km of mountain and forest trails.
As you hike the popular Fairy Castle Loop trail (5.5 km), you can enjoy spectacular views of Dublin City, Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains.
The site also hides an archaeological curiosity - Fairy Castle, a mound probably hiding a Neolithic tomb. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are bike trails and two permanent off-road orientation courses.
