Täfelessattel

Täfelessattel is a scenic hiking area near Schwangau, offering more than 120 kilometers of well-maintained hiking trails of varying difficulty.

It is home to breathtaking views of the Tegelberg mountain, the Alpsee lake and the famous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The region is rich in cultural heritage - even the remains of a Roman villa rustica have been discovered under the Tegelberg mountain!

For families, there are easier trails and attractions like a summer toboggan run, while experienced climbers will find challenging mountain trails.
