Northface Trail

Northface Trail is a scenic hiking trail in Mürren, offering breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The approximately 7.4-kilometer-long trail leads through alpine flower-filled meadows, shady forests, valleys and mountain ridges. The moderate level of difficulty makes the trail accessible to a wide range of hikers, although it is not suitable for families with baby strollers.

The best time to hike is from May to October, with mornings as the safest time of day. Along the trail you can admire grazing cows and a variety of Alpine flora.
