John o'Groats Trail

John o'Groats Trail is a fascinating 236-kilometer walking trail that runs along the Scottish coast, from Inverness to the country's northeasternmost point.

The trail offers breathtaking views of cliffs, beaches and picturesque bays where you can spot seals, dolphins and even whales.

The trail passes historic sites, including the iron fortress of Nybster and the Viking ruins of Old Wick Castle. Although some sections are challenging, with boggy terrain and river crossings, the effort is rewarded with amazing nature and a sense of adventure.
