Agrião Trail

Agrião Trail is a scenic hiking trail on the island of São Miguel in the Azores archipelago. The approximately 7.6-kilometer trail runs from Povoação beach along the coast, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Historically, the trail was used by locals working in the Agrião region, giving it cultural significance. During the 3-hour hike, you'll see the Ponta do Garajau viewpoint, the Santa Rita Chapel and a variety of vegetation, including the region's signature Pittosporum and Acacia trees.

The trail ends in the charming village of Ribeira Quente, where you can rest after the hike.
