Description

The Royal Oaks Trail is a unique educational path in Bialowieza National Park. On the route of about 500 meters you can admire mighty oak trees, some of which are even 500 years old!

Each tree bears the name of a Polish king or prince who hunted in the Bialowieza Forest over the centuries. Information boards in Polish and English introduce the history of the rulers and their ties to the forest.

The route is easy to walk and accessible to people with limited mobility. There is also a viewing platform overlooking the swamp area, which is a habitat for various bird species.
