Description
The Bison Show Reserve is a unique place in the heart of the Bialowieza Forest, where you can observe the king of the forest - the bison - in its natural habitat.
The reserve plays a key role in protecting the species, which was saved from extinction in the 20th century. Today about 700 of these majestic animals live here.
In addition to bison, you can also meet Polish horses, deer, lynx and wolves. Walking along educational trails, such as the 3.6-kilometer 'Bison's Rib' trail leading through swamps and marshes, you will learn about the fascinating history and life of the forest's inhabitants.
