Phangan Elephant Sanctuary

Phangan Elephant Sanctuary is an ethical place where three rescued elephants have found a peaceful haven after difficult experiences in riding camps.

The sanctuary offers unique programs for visitors - a longer Tour Program (about 2 hours) and a shorter Feeding Program (about 1 hour). During the visits, visitors can prepare rice balls for the elephants, feed them and learn more about their behavior and health.

The site is located in a lush forest in the hills of Koh Phangan, providing a natural environment for the elephants with a flowing stream and space for mud baths.
