Description
The Belgrade Zoological Garden is a fascinating place with more than 85 years of history, founded in 1936.
It is the largest zoo in Serbia, where you can admire more than 2,000 animals representing some 200 species. A special attraction are the white lions, which have become a symbol of Belgrade and have been successfully bred since 2005.
The garden also offers an animal contact zone where children can pet alpacas, rabbits and miniature goats. Its location in the heart of the historic Kalemegdan Park adds a unique charm to the place.
