Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is an architectural masterpiece combining Islamic, Middle Eastern and Omani styles. This impressive mosque covers an area of 416,000 square meters, with a central dome rising 50 meters high and five minarets symbolizing the pillars of Islam.

Inside is the second largest hand-woven carpet in the world at 4,263 square meters, which 600 weavers created over four years. Also awe-inspiring is the 14-meter Swarovski chandelier adorned with 600,000 crystals.

The richly decorated interior with calligraphy, arabesques and mosaics provides a unique cultural experience for any visitor.
