Stowe House is an impressive English Baroque, Palladian and Neoclassical style palace located in Buckinghamshire, England.
The historic property has undergone a major £27 million renovation that has restored it to its former glory. The palace is surrounded by spectacular gardens designed by master landscapers Charles Bridgeman, William Kent and Capability Brown.
The interiors impress with their wealth of detail, especially the Large Library and Gothic Library, which are rare examples of Soane's Gothic style. The 1740 State Salon is adorned with an elaborate cornice with painted decoration.
