Stiftsgårdsparken

Stiftsgårdsparken is a unique monument in the heart of Trondheim, being one of the largest wooden buildings in Northern Europe.

Built between 1774 and 1778, this majestic palace combines Baroque and Rococo styles, delighting visitors with its rich decorations and impressive interiors.

As an official royal residence, the palace has witnessed numerous historical events and coronations. Walking through the 140 chambers, one can feel the spirit of Norwegian royal history and admire the craftsmanship of ancient artisans.
