Description
Statue of Sir Steve Redgrave is a unique monument located in Higginson Park in Marlow. Unveiled in 2002 by Queen Elizabeth II, it commemorates one of Britain's most outstanding rowers, who won five Olympic gold medals between 1984 and 2000.
The bronze sculpture by Neale Andrew depicts the sports legend along with a plaque describing his remarkable achievements. It's an ideal spot for lovers of sports and Olympic history, and a great spot while strolling through the picturesque Thames River park.
