Leonard's Bakery

Leonard's Bakery is an iconic Honolulu patisserie that has been delighting locals and tourists with its traditional Portuguese malasadas since 1952. These delicious holeless doughnuts, fried to order, have a crispy crust and soft interior. You can choose from a variety of fillings: pudding, guava, macadamia nut, chocolate or ube.

Founded by Leonardo Rego, grandson of Portuguese immigrants from the Azores, the bakery has become a symbol of Hawaii's culinary heritage. In addition to its famous malasadas, it also offers traditional baked goods, including pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread), pastries and cakes.
