San Francisco Zoo

San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is a sprawling 100-acre zoo where more than 2,000 exotic and endangered animals live in natural habitats. Unique experiences await at every turn: giraffe feeding at 3:45 p.m., breakfast with grizzly bears at 10:30 a.m., or watching gorillas in one of the largest enclosures in the country.

Three themed playgrounds (ice, forest, and river), a historic carousel, and a miniature steam train provide entertainment for the little ones, while adults will appreciate the beautiful gardens and educational exhibits on nature conservation.
