Description
Stadt Park is an oasis of calm in the heart of Mainz-Weisenau. Transformed into an English landscape park in the 19th century, this historic park delights with a rich history dating back to the 17th century.
The biggest attraction is the rose garden with more than 7,500 roses over an area of 9,500 m². Walking along winding paths among the ancient trees, fountains and monuments, one can discover the fascinating history of the site, which was once part of the Baroque Favorite Palace.
The park offers the perfect setting for picnics, jogging and relaxing outdoors, being the ideal place for a family vacation or a leisurely stroll amidst nature.

Soraya Lingbeek Lingstra9 months agoI have been visiting this park very often. Especially this beautiful park is used for Mainz Weinmarkt. Beautiful view on the River Rhine on a bright day and pretty roses from the rose garden.
