St Mary's Church

St Mary's Church is a historic church dating back to the 11th century and is one of the oldest in the Cotswolds region.

This historic church impresses with its unique architecture combining Saxon, Norman and Gothic elements. Admire the beautifully carved Norman portal dating back to 1180, the 13th-century baptismal font, and stained glass windows, one of which even appeared on a Royal Mail Christmas stamp in 1992.

In the churchyard, you'll find Saxon gravestones, while inside you'll find nine medieval niches and two piscines testifying to the site's rich history.
