Sprechenstein Castle

Sprechenstein Castle is a fascinating monument of medieval architecture in South Tyrol. Its most striking feature is the 13th century circular tower that dominates the surrounding area.

The castle boasts a rich history - it belonged to the influential Trautson and Auersperg families, and was meticulously restored after World War II damage.

Inside is the Chapel of St. Erasmus with its beautiful winged altar and frescoes. Although the interiors are not open to the public, the castle's setting itself offers picturesque views and an opportunity to experience the region's history.
