Description
Reserva Natural Integral de Benchijigua is a protected nature reserve located on the southern slope of the island of La Gomera.
This unique place is famous for its rich biodiversity and spectacular geological formations, including the impressive Roque de Agando cliff rising 1246.7 meters above sea level.
The reserve is home to many endemic and endangered plant species, such as Chamorra, Siempreviva and Taginaste. Numerous hiking trails allow you to discover the beauty of this place, connecting the Agando Pass to the bottom of the Benchijigua Gorge.
