Description

Palacio de Dar al-Horra is a 15th-century Nasrid palace in the Albaicín district, a jewel of Moorish architecture. Once the residence of Aixa, mother of Boabdil, the last king of Granada, it boasts a central courtyard with a pool, horseshoe arches, and geometric stucco work. The palace hides an intriguing story of a royal love triangle and was the site of historic agreements in 1493. A less crowded alternative to the Alhambra, offering an authentic atmosphere of Nasrid elegance.
