Description
Drago de Icod de los Vinos is one of the oldest living organisms in the world. This majestic dragon tree, between 800 and 1,000 years old, rises to a height of more than 16 meters and has a circumference of 20 meters, being a symbol of Tenerife.
The park surrounding the tree offers a wealth of local flora, including other dragon trees and endemic plant species. Visitors can also see a reconstruction of a traditional Guanche burial in the cave and learn about the medicinal properties of local plants.
This is an ideal destination for nature lovers and those interested in the local history and culture of the Canary Islands.
