Description
Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Regional Park is the largest protected natural area in the Madrid region, covering more than 42,000 hectares.
Recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, this unique park impresses with its diversity of ecosystems - from pine forests to oak groves and wetlands.
Historical gems, such as the Manzanares el Real Castle and the El Pardo Royal Palace, add to the place's unique character. Numerous hiking trails offer breathtaking views of the Barranca Valley and the Guarramillas and Maliciosa massifs.
