Słoweńskie Muzeum Etnograficzne

The Slovenian Ethnographic Museum is a unique institution with over 100 years of history, being the oldest ethnographic institution in Slovenia.

The museum presents traditional Slovenian culture, as well as exhibits from non-European cultures. It houses both tangible and intangible heritage of everyday and festive life.

An interesting feature is its location in the former military barracks of the Habsburg army from 1886-1889. The museum offers various exhibitions, cultural events and workshops for children and adults, and is fully accessible to people with disabilities.
