Description
Layer House - The House of Art is a unique cultural center in an 18th-century building in the heart of the old town of Kranj. It houses a museum dedicated to Janez Puhar, a pioneer of photography who invented a method of fixing images on glass in 1841. Restored 19th-century frescoes, art galleries, the Forma Viva sculpture garden, and an atmospheric café with a bookshop create a space full of inspiration. Concerts, theater performances, and art workshops are held here throughout the year.
