Description
The Holy Trinity Column is an impressive Baroque monument erected in 1713 as a token of gratitude for the end of the plague epidemic that struck Bratislava between 1710 and 1711.
This 18-meter-tall column impresses with its intricate carvings and reliefs depicting biblical scenes and the Trinity motif.
It is not only an architectural gem, but also a symbol of the resilience and gratitude of the city's residents. Its location in the heart of the Old Town makes it an ideal spot during a stroll through Bratislava's historic corners.
