Description
Slide Rock State Park is a unique natural attraction known for its 80-foot natural water slide formed by slippery, algae-covered sandstone rocks. It was originally a Pendley Homestead apple orchard established in 1912, with an innovative irrigation system still in use today.
In addition to the famous slide, the park offers a half-mile stretch of Oak Creek ideal for swimming and fishing, as well as three short hiking trails. All of this is surrounded by Sedona's breathtaking red rock formations, creating an unforgettable destination for nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
