Description
Skinnarviksberget is one of the highest natural hills in central Stockholm, reaching 53 meters in height. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, including iconic landmarks like City Hall and Riddarholmen.
It's the perfect place for a picnic, relaxation or a sunset photo session. The hill has a rich history - it was originally a working area inhabited by tanners, and in the 18th century it was a strategic observation point and part of Stockholm's defense system.
Spontaneous concerts and yoga classes are often held here in the summer. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as the paths can be rocky and uneven.
