Description
The Stockholm Open Air Museum is the world's oldest outdoor museum, founded in 1891 by Arthur Hazelius.
This fascinating place offers more than 150 historic buildings relocated from different parts of Sweden, from 16th-century farms to 18th-century mansions.
You can also view native Swedish fauna, including bears, moose and lynx. There are traditional festivals, concerts and craft demonstrations throughout the year, and a famous Christmas market in winter that attracts thousands of visitors.
