Sitzender Keiler

Sitzender Keiler is a unique bronze sculpture depicting a seated boar, located in the heart of Munich. It is a recreation of the famous Porcellino of Florence, made with extraordinary attention to detail by Martin Mayer.

According to local tradition, rubbing the boar's glistening nose brings good luck, leaving that part of the sculpture polished while the rest is covered with patina.

The sculpture forms an interesting ensemble with the figure of a giant catfish and is a popular photo spot for tourists visiting Munich.
