Șirul Canonicilor

Șirul Canonicilor is a unique architectural complex in Oradea, consisting of 57 arches connecting 10 consecutive buildings. Built in stages over 100 years (1750-1875), it is a gem of Romanian Baroque architecture.

The impressive 253-meter-long corridor with 56 pillars delights history and photography enthusiasts. The complex served various functions, from a monastery and convent to a cultural center.

As part of a larger Baroque ensemble, including the Roman Catholic Basilica and the Baroque Palace, it offers a fascinating journey through time for anyone interested in the region's cultural heritage.
