Description
Lower Peirce Reservoir is a scenic walking trail in the heart of Singapore, offering an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. The approximately 900-meter-long trail leads through lush forests and along calm waters, providing shade and coolness even on hot days.
The trail delights with a wealth of biodiversity - more than 900 species of flowering plants, 100 species of ferns and 250 species of animals, including rare birds like the White-bellied White-bellied Bald Eagle. The area was formerly a rubber plantation, and the adjacent Old Upper Thomson Road was Singapore's first racetrack.
