Culloden Battlefield

Culloden Battlefield is the historic site of the last battle of the 1746 Jacobite uprising that changed the course of Scottish history.

The state-of-the-art visitor center features interactive exhibits, an impressive 360-degree film recreating the battle, and a collection of weapons and artifacts.

Walking around the battlefield, which has been restored to its original appearance, visitors can see marked burial sites of the fallen and flags indicating the positions of Scottish clans and government troops. This is an extremely moving experience for history buffs.
