Schwansee

Schwansee is a picturesque lake located in Schwangau, in the Bavarian region of Germany. Surrounded by a beautiful park designed by Carl August Sckell in the English style, it is a true oasis of tranquility and natural beauty.

The historic park, created at the behest of Prince Maximilian II, impresses with a system of paths more than 60 kilometers long, unique viewpoints and rich vegetation.

Thanks to Prince Albrecht's ban on fertilization, the area has become home to more than 60 species of rare orchids and gentians, making it a paradise for nature and photography enthusiasts.
