Description

Schnetztor is an impressive medieval city gate dating back to the 14th century, and is one of Constance's three surviving defensive towers. Its unique Gothic architecture is stunning in its detailing and craftsmanship.

Each side of the gate looks different - one made of brick, the other of half-timbering, which adds to its unique character. It also has a working clock, which is a testament to ancient craftsmanship.

It's the perfect place for history buffs and photographers, especially at sunrise or sunset, when the light beautifully highlights the medieval details of this remarkable building.
