Schloss Hof

Schloss Hof is an impressive Baroque palace complex located in Marchfeld, Austria. This former estate of Prince Eugene of Savoy, and later Empress Maria Theresa, impresses with its beautiful gardens spread over seven terraces.

The grounds include one of the largest Baroque court farms in Central Europe, where rare breeds of animals can be seen, including Nonius horses, Lipizzaners and spectacular sheep. History buffs will appreciate the richly decorated palace chambers with frescoes and ornaments.

For families, there are special craft workshops where you can learn about Baroque life through pottery, basketry or schnapps distillation.
