Description
Santa Rosa Sector Guanacaste Conservation Area is a unique national park in Costa Rica, combining a wealth of history with extraordinary biodiversity.
Covering more than 16,000 hectares, four of the five main tropical ecosystems can be enjoyed: marine/coastal, dry forest, rainforest and mist forest.
The historic Hacienda Santa Rosa hides the stories of the 1856 Battle of Santa Rosa, and nature lovers can observe unique species including howler monkeys, white-tailed deer and numerous birds.
It's a paradise for photographers, history enthusiasts and adventurers.
