Santa Cruz, Seville is one of Seville's oldest neighborhoods, a former medieval Jewish quarter. It is characterized by narrow, shaded streets designed to maximize protection from the sun, and beautiful squares surrounded by orange trees.

It's a place full of romantic corners, balconies sprinkled with flowers and white houses with charming patios. Legend has it that one of the balconies here inspired the balcony scene in Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'.
