Description
Salto de La Jalda is the highest waterfall in the Caribbean, reaching an impressive height of 102 meters. Located in a remote corner of the Dominican Republic, surrounded by lush cocoa and coffee forests, it offers an unforgettable adventure for nature lovers.
The hike to the waterfall is a challenge - the 8-kilometer round-trip trail takes you across the Magua River, which you cross several times. A reward awaits at the end - the opportunity to swim in a natural lagoon at the foot of the spectacular waterfall.
You can choose to hike or ride on horseback, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes, a bathing suit and a supply of water!
