Description
The Roztocze National Park is a true paradise for lovers of nature and active recreation. In an area of almost 85 km² you can admire unique forest ecosystems with more than 700 species of plants and 190 species of birds.
The park is famous for its picturesque Echo Ponds with a sandy beach and the Beech Mountain Reserve with age-old trees reaching 50 meters in height. A special attraction is the breeding of Polish horses - descendants of wild tarpans.
Numerous nature trails provide opportunities for hiking, biking or cross-country skiing, and the Educational and Museum Center in Zwierzyniec offers fascinating nature exhibitions.

Stephan Werlen7 years agoClose to the town of Zwierzyniec, there is a small lake with a sand beach to go swimming. Great for the kids. You can walk the trails in the forest or go mountain bikink in the many trails in the park. The best is an 8 km long fresh spring water stream you can kayak down current. Many small hotels around town with modern accommodations. Prices are very good for all activities and rentals.
