Description
The Route des crêtes is a spectacular scenic road between Cassis and La Ciotat, offering breathtaking panoramas of the Mediterranean. The 15-kilometer stretch features France's highest sea cliff, Cap Canaille (394 meters), as well as unique rock formations such as Le Pont Naturel and Dent du Chat.
The route leads to the historic Semafor of 1791, located 349 meters above sea level. On sunny days, visibility reaches all the way to the islands of Marseille. Ideal for lovers of photography, geology and active recreation.
