Palace Square

Palace Square is a majestic square in St. Petersburg that is one of Russia's most important landmarks. This vast open area is surrounded by spectacular architecture, including the famous Winter Palace and the impressive General Staff building with its distinctive triumphal arch.

In the center of the square rises the monumental Alexandria Column, commemorating the victory over Napoleon. The site has witnessed many historical events, including the October Revolution.
