Roses Park

Roses Park is a charming rose garden in the heart of Timișoara, established in 1891 during the Universal Exposition. This historic park impresses with a collection of more than 10,000 rose bushes representing some 600 species and varieties, arranged in 8 groups in rhomboidal beds.

The park was designed by famous landscape architects Wilhelm Mühle and Wenceslas Franz Niemitz in the Anglo-French style. The place is not only an oasis of tranquility, but also a cultural center, hosting numerous festivals and artistic events in the historic summer theater.
