Description
Roque Nublo is an impressive 80-meter basalt monolith that is a symbol of Gran Canaria.
It is a site of great historical significance - it was a sacred place for the island's indigenous Guanches, who performed sacrificial rituals here.
The trail leading to the rock is relatively easy and family-friendly, and the hike takes about 2.5 hours. This unique vantage point, located 1183 meters above sea level, offers a spectacular view of the island and the surrounding countryside.
It's also a great place for stargazing thanks to the exceptionally clear skies.
