Description
Riverside Park is a 330-acre park on the banks of the Hudson River in Manhattan, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted - the creator of Central Park.
It is a true oasis of greenery offering basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, bike paths and playgrounds. Nature lovers will appreciate the bird sanctuary inhabited by more than 200 species and the charming 91st Street Community Garden, made famous by the movie 'You've Got News.
The park is also home to historic landmarks, including Grant's Tomb and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
