Riserva Naturale Le Cesine

Riserva Naturale Le Cesine is a unique WWF-protected nature reserve located in Italy.

This picturesque area encompasses diverse ecosystems: lush forests, sand dunes, salt marshes and two ponds that create an ideal habitat for more than 180 species of birds. Nature lovers can view wild ducks, herons, gulls, hawks and cormorants from the available observation towers.

The reserve offers five nature trails, including one adapted for people with disabilities. Since 1977, it has been one of the most important wetlands in southern Italy.
