Rise Sculpture

Rise Sculpture is an impressive public sculpture in Belfast, consisting of two concentric spheres. With a height of 37.5 meters and a diameter of 30 meters, it is the largest public sculpture in the city.

Made of white and silver steel, the structure symbolizes the rising sun over the marshes that once stretched across the area. The sloping steel supports represent the reeds of the former wetlands.

The geodesic design of the sphere allows the sculpture to be admired just as strikingly from all sides, making it an excellent photo spot for art lovers and tourists.
